Absolutely! When I was a kid, I loved my uncle’s telescope—it was like a magic window to the stars! I’d spend hours staring at the moon, Saturn, and twinkling stars, and then dive into books about cool stuff like pulsars and quasars. Afterward, I’d rush home to try and build my own telescope with my toys. That’s when I realized how much fun it was to figure out how things worked, how mechanisms worked—like the lenses that can zoom all that far away, and the pulleys and gears that help us move things with minimum effort. Soon, my curiosity shifted from planets to machines, and I tried to understand the physics of everything that was happening around me- almost like a little forensic detective but for physics! I would try to interpret how far my shuttlecock would go if I hit it with my racket and at what angle, how fast should I ride my bike to not fall etc. Gradually, over time, I understood that science was my best friend and that it could help me understand the world.

Actually no. I wanted to own a hotel when I was younger, but after doing some research at University, my curiosity just kept growing and I started to enjoy research, which got me to being a scientist!

Not at all! When I was in school I wanted to be an architect or work in costumes/stage design for theatre. I also looked at being a psychologist, an industrial designer, or a teacher. Science became more interesting the more that I got to do experiments in school and university.
